Apr 20, 2020 · Before turning your PS4 back on make sure your router is turned off. Turn on your PS4 and then your router. Change DNS Settings. Go to the PS4 Menu -> Settings -> Network -> Set Up Internet Connection Select WIFI or LAN cable (We recommend LAN) Set DNS Settings to manual and use 184.108.40.206 as the primary DNS and 220.127.116.11. as the secondary DNS.

I've set my Vita and PS4 up for remote play and my PS4 is hardlined into my modem. When I use the direct connection method remote play works great (up to a distance). When I do a network test, my PS4 basically freezes, I can see the symbols changing in the upper right corner, but none of the buttons work anymore, the only way out of this is by holding the DS button and shutting down the PS4, which after a long time, is getting shut down with 3 short beeps.
